Teaching

In Spring 2005, I teach the graduate database course.

In Fall 2005, I teach the Data Mining and the undergraduate database course.

In Spring 2006, I teach the graduate artificial intelligence course and the undergraduate database course.

In Fall 2006, I teach Data Mining.

In Spring 2007, I teach Advanced Artificial Intelligence and Evolutionary Programming.

In Fall 2007, I teach Data Mining.

In Spring 2008, I teach Artificial Intelligence Programming and Evolutionary Programming.

In Fall 2008, I teach Data Mining.

In Spring 2009, I teach the graduate artificial intelligence course and the graduate machine learning course.

2005/2006 I served on the Faculty Search Committee and I will serve in that committee 2007/2009. I also served as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Computer Science Department from September 2001 to November 2004. I am serving on the program committee for the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM, to be held in Pisa, Italy, Dec. 15-19, 2008), for the International Conference on Machine Learning and Data Mining (MLDM, to be held in Leipzig, Germany, July 2009), and for the SIAM Data Mining Conference (SDM, to be held in Sparks, Nevada, April 30-May 2, 2009).
