(As 10/13/98) New updates in web page for problem 3.
(As 10/01/98) Problem set #3 due October 15, 1998. Click here for latest update.
(As 09/22/98) A new link to Cornell Theory Center for MPI tutorials is added. You can find MPI tutorials and lab exercises from this page.
(As 09/22/98) Correction!! There were 2 typos in Problem Set #2. Please correct them.
1. Problem 1 (4): A binary cube network of 2^d (was d 2^d)
2. Problem 2 (3): A binary cube network of 2^d (was d 2^d)
Please work on Problem Set #2 corrording to these changes.
(As 09/17/98) Problem Set #2: due Thursday, September 24, 1998 in the class. Start earlier.
(As 09/17/98) The Problem Set #3 will use MPI and it will be released next Thursday. Since there is a steep learning curve on MPI, I would suggest you to study MPI earlier. Although SP2 is down at this moment, you can start to get some reading material from these web sites.

(As 09/14/98) Dr. Johnsson has approved ONE day extension to problem set #1 due to last Friday's inclement weather (school was shutdown). New due day: 5:30 PM, Wednesday, September 16, 1998.

(As 09/02/98) Some students reported their accounts on SX-3 did not work. I sent out first account request last Thursday. SX-3 might be done since last Friday. So accounts on SX-3 will need another day or two. :-(
(As 09/01/98) SX-3 is down for hardware problem. Hopefully it will be back on line in a day or two. At mean time, if you want to practice on Fortran 77, you can use "f77" on bayou.
(As 09/01/98) Your accounts on SX-3 and SP-2 shall be ready fairly soon. Since I submit account application in several batches, some accounts are ready now, but some might need a little while. ;-)
