Review Part2 Qualifying Exam COSC 6340, Spring 2004
Part2 of the Database Qualifying Exam has been scheduled for Fr., May 14,
10:00a-11:30a
in in 343 PGH. The exam will be
"open textbooks and notes". The exam will ask questions concerning
the four papers that were distributed among the students taking the
exam, and will also review the following material
that was covered in the midterm exam:
- **** Normalization, Functional and Multi-valued Dependencies (everything
that was relevant
for the midterm exam is relevant for part2 of the
QE).
- ** Everything that was relevant for the midterm exam with respect to clustering.
- * Everything that was relevant for the midterm exam concerning association rules.
