11/3 16.2M 10M-Race first 7M@6:55-pace Conroe GDST 7/6 T=66-71 & high hum.; felt good at mile 6 being in 12th place closing in on the 11th and 10th place runner when the leading 25 runners were directed to take a wrong turn, leading to 1.8 additional miles for me. One minor error messed up the whole race for a lot of participants that might have enjoyed the race on a nicely rolling, somewhat demanding course, otherwise! Moreover, Mari McCain indulged me into a longer cool down and I ended up running four extra miles.
