Viewing the US praries like a buffalo in ancient times. However,
the course was tough and had a lot of steep downhills with difficult
footing. First my IT-band got sore; because of that I had
to slow down on the 4000 foot drop after mile 18; then I hit the
wall at 48K: never had that many lower leg cramps and bad nausea
after a race. Anyway, the beauty of
tge course justifies this kind of suffering. It was very scenic going up and down over meadows with a
lot a flowers and through a nice canyon... |
