• A paper by Troy LeBlanc, Rakhi Anand, Edgar Gabriel and Jaspal Subhlok on "VolpexMPI: an MPI Library for Execution of Parallel Applications on Volatile Nodes" has been presented and published at the European PVM/MPI users group.

• July 2nd , 2009

• A paper by Vishwanath Venkatesan, Edgar Gabriel and Shishir Shah entitled "'Towards High Performance Cell Segmentation in Multispectral Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of Thyroid Lesions" has been accepted for publication in the journal "Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine". The paper is expected to be published early 2010.
