Before we start..
- You can use any computer you want,but the best choice to do this is using a Linux machine.
  For most people not familar with it, I recommend Mandrake Linux, which you can choose to download by yourself, or buy its commercial package if you need extra commercial support.
Publish your thoughts on WWW
- Writing HTML
  - Any editor will make it, the most used basic syntax is here
  - The detail HTML 40.1 stadard
  - you can also use the free HTML editors in Openoffice or Nescape, Mozilla,...
  - Avoid using editor Front Page by Microsoft, because they on porposely make it imcompitable to the standard, so people not use MS IE may not able to read it.
- let your article readable for everyone: get C3 HTML certified

- Server side consideration
  - Favoraite principle: avoid spam, no need to moderate all the time.
  - Mailing list serive software
    - mailman
  - Postfix (Mailing serive software, it plays well with Mailman, additionally for its anti-spam features)

  - use filter to filer out junk mail
    - mozilla has build in filter
