About Me

I have moved to work at Rice University in the department of Computer Science (see the new homepage). I was a student at:

• College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics

• within HPCTools research group with Dr. Chapman

• Parallel programming: Hybrid programming MPI+OpenMP
• Compiler: Automatic OpenMP generation with Open64 and Dragon
• Tools for analyzing, modeling and optimizing parallel applications

• High Performance Computing blog: a bit formal blog on my research area.
• Computer stuff: a more general notes on computers.

I was (and I am) also interested in writing some programs in the following areas:

• Image processing. Especially programming with Matlab, .Net and ImagePro
• Latex: writing plugs-in to manipulate bibtex file. The module is written with yacc and lex style (I am too lazy to write the parser)
• User interface: Tk, GTK+, Motif, Java/Swing/JFC/Eclipse/SWT ...
• Database: using SQLite for embedded database in some of the programs, includig my Eclipse plug-in.
• Web stuff: I am a webmaster in some websites. Maintaining, administering, ...
• Multimedia: I like playing with animation and 3D image processing. Just for fun.
