I am a research associate in the Computer Science Department at University of Houston. My research interests are parallel programming models, OpenMP, compiler optimizations, and programming analysis tools for High Performance Computing. I am very interested in the research of facilitating the development of multithreaded programs using OpenMP, improving the performance and scalability on both shared and distributed memory systems, esp. for the current popular multicore architectures. I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Houston in 2006. I am currently working on the High Performance Tools group led by Dr. Barbara Chapman at University of Houston.
