Rong Zheng received her Ph.D. degree from Dept. of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2004 and earned her M.E. and B.E. in Electrical Engineering in May 1998 and June 1996 from Tsinghua University, P.R. China. Rong Zheng received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2006. She is presently a member of IEEE Computer Society and ACM. Her research interests include Wireless Networks and Mobile Computing, Distributed Algorithms, and network information theory.
