I also served as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Computer Science Department from September 2001 to November 2004. In recent years I served on the program committee for the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining 2006-2013 (ICDM, to be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey in November 2015), for the International Symposium on Methodologies for Intelligent Systems (ISMIS, to be held in Lyon, France in October 2015), for the International Conference on Machine Learning and Data Mining (MLDM, to be held in New York City in July 2016), and for the Pacific Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining to be held in Auckland, New Zealand in April 2016. .
