Short Resume: Christoph F. Eick is an Associate Professor of the Computer Science Department at the University of Houston. He is currently on sabbatical and worked for MCC in Austin, and is currently working for the Division of Biomedical Informatics of the University of Washington in Seattle. His research interests include knowledge discovery and data mining, evolutionary computing, knowledge-based systems, medical informatics, agent-based technologies, artificial intelligence, and databases. He published more than 50 papers in these areas, and served as thesis advisor for more than 50 Master's and PhD students. He received a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany.
