Computer Science 3410 - Lab Information
Design Entry using Schematics - Drawing the schematic
Importing Logic gates
Select Symbol -> Enter Symbol and double-click on the line c:\maxplus2\max2lib\prim\ in the Symbol Libraries list. Then double-click on the symbol that you want. The number following the name of the gate indicates the number of inputs it has. Thus, or2 is an OR gate with two inputs. Repeat for as many gates needed. The gates can be rotated by selecting Edit -> Rotate and then the degrees. The symbols themselves can also be moved around by selceting them and dragging the mouse.
Repeat this procedure for the inout/output pins. In the Prim library, double-click the symbol input and repeat for as many inputs as needed. Then, do the same to get an output, double-clicking output this time.
Now, you can rearrange all the pieces so they look like your schematic.
