Design Entry using Truth Tables - Converting the truth table into a Waveform
- Open the Waveform Editor: MAX+plusII -> Waveform Editor
- Select File -> Save As. Save it as truthtable1.wdf (the wdf stands for waveform design file)
Now, you will enter the inputs and outputs into the waveform.
- Select Node -> Insert Node. In the box labeled Node Name type the name of the first variable (x). Make sure that Input Pin is selected in the I/O box, Click OK. Repeat for the input variable (y).
- Select Node -> Insert Node. In the box labeled Node Name type the name of the output (F). Make sure that Output Pin is selcted this time and click ok.
