The Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) Fellowship program is supported by a U.S. Department of Education grant with a matching fund from the University of Houston.

1. For all applicants, please submit the following:

• Complete the GAANN application form, sign it and send the form to the Program Director at the email below.
• Complete a Statement of Purpose (250-500 words).
• Proof of U.S. citizenship (U.S. passport, birth certificate) or Permanent Resident (Green Card).

2. If you are not a UH student, complete the Ph.D. application for Computer Science.

3. File for FAFSA.
