Bio:
	Dr. Stephen Huang, Professor of Computer Science, has more than 30 years of experience in computer science teaching, research, and administration. His research interests include Cybersecurity, Intrusion Detection, Bioinformatics, Data Science, and Algorithms. He has published many journal and conference papers, and supervised and graduated over 30 M.S. and 8 Ph.D. students. Dr. Huang has served in several administrative positions at UH including Director of Graduate Studies, Associate Chairman, and Department Chairman. Dr. Huang received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas-Austin in 1981. He was a National Research Council-NASA Senior Research Associate at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland in 1989-90.
